FINANCIAL POLICIES
We request payment at the time of treatment. If you wish, you may use Visa or MasterCard, cash or check. A financial plan can be developed with patients for whom extensive dental treatment is planned.
We do apply a 1.5% interest charge per month on all accounts that are over 30 days.
INSURANCE
If you have a dental insurance plan, we will be glad to complete and submit your claim forms, however, we do expect you to make co-payments at the time of treatment. Your insurance company will provide benefits according to the provision of your particular policy. In this regard we would like to offer the following tips:
- Please bring a claim form with the patient’s portion completed and signed where appropriate. If you provide us with your insurance benefit booklet we can estimate what your coverage will be.
- We will be happy to submit to your insurance company a pre-treatment estimate for more extensive dental care. Your insurer will notify you in advance of treatment of the amount they will cover.
- Remember that most plans will pay only a portion of your fee. You are, of course, responsible for any amount not covered by your plan.
- We fully participate as providers under Delta Dental Plan of Massachusetts and other major insurers.
